this large scarf was envisioned for many months and took several more months to piece together. and although i get impatient, i love the pieces that take so much time. because then they are holding so much time. i haven't met another medium that holds memory quite like textiles do. it’s like your mom’s tshirt or your baby blanket. there is so much feeling and connection in cloth. it makes a difference to have this in our lives. and this handwoven scarf aims to contribute to that.
